Spanish Translation of the Fifth National Climate Assessment Now Available
Today, the U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) is announcing the availability of all chapters of the Fifth National Climate Assessment (NCA5) in Spanish. This marks the first time that the entire National Climate Assessment has been translated into Spanish, greatly broadening the reach and accessibility of the U.S. government’s premier resource for communicating climate change risks, impacts, and solutions. The translation was made possible by support from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

In addition, on May 14, 2024, 3-4pm ET, USGCRP is hosting a Spanish-language webinar to share about the NCA5 Spanish translation and to share opportunities to participate in the Sixth National Climate Assessment (NCA6). USGCRP has kicked off planning for NCA6, and the call for NCA6 authors, technical inputs, and comments on the proposed scope and themes will go live within the next few weeks.
Ya Está Disponible La Traducción al Español de la Quinta Evaluación Nacional del Clima
El Programa de Estados Unidos para la Investigación sobre el Cambio Mundial (USGCRP, siglas inglés) anuncia la publicación de La Quinta Evaluación Nacional del Clima (NCA5, siglas inglés) en español. Este anuncio marca la primera vez que la NCA ha sido traducida al español en su totalidad, con la intención de ampliar la accesibilidad de este recurso superior del gobierno federal y comunicar los riesgos e impactos del cambio climático, y las soluciones. Esta traducción fue posible gracias al apoyo de la Agencia de los Estados Unidos para el Desarrollo Internacional (USAID).
