USGCRP's 2012–2021 Strategic Plan was developed by a team of over 100 federal scientists in collaboration with USGCRP leadership. The team drew on the advice of the National Academies and feedback from public sessions with stakeholder groups. The plan was revised in response to public comments and reviews by USGCRP, the National Science and Technology Council’s Committee on the Environment, Natural Resources, and Sustainability (CENRS), and the National Research Council.
Updates to the 2012–2021 Strategic Plan
The update meets the requirements set forth in the U.S. Global Change Research Act of 1990 (Section 102, P. L. 101–606) to provide a triennial update of the decadal National Global Change Research Plan. This report was developed by the Strategic Plan Integration and Writing Teams, which report to the Subcommittee on Global Change Research and the CENRS.
