Call for nominations: Experts to scope two new IPBES thematic assessments

The Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES; www.ipbes.net), an independent intergovernmental body that assesses the state of biodiversity and the ecosystem services biodiversity provides to society, is currently seeking experts and practitioners with relevant expertise to assist with the scoping of a new methodological assessment on business and biodiversity (initial scoping document can be found here).  Experts are sought from a diversity of backgrounds including academic, business and industry, and a diversity of disciplines, expertise and domains, including knowledge of environmental accounting, corporate social responsibility, environmental justice, value and supply chains, indicators, monitoring and disclosure, and ecology. The U.S. Government welcomes participation of all government and non-government subject matter experts and encourages individuals with significant expertise relevant to the assessment to apply.

If interested, please email your CV and a short paragraph (400 words maximum) about your interest in the opportunity and what you hope to contribute to Sarah Weiskopf at [email protected] by January 18, 2021.
