An Update to Key Findings of Snow, Water, Ice and Permafrost in the Arctic (SWIPA) 2017. Drawing and building on the findings of AMAP: Snow, Water, Ice and Permafrost in the Arctic (SWIPA) 2017 assessment, this document provides updated observations, information from other recent assessments, and conclusions from the latest reviews of Arctic trends and indicators. The pace of change in the Arctic is so rapid that new records are being set annually, and each additional year of data strengthens the already compelling evidence of a rapidly changing Arctic.

This assessment report presents the results of the 2018 AMAP Assessment of the Biological Effects of Contaminants on Arctic Wildlife and Fish. The assessment updates information presented in the AMAP POP's assessment delivered in 2009, specifically with respect to information on biological effects of organohalogenated compunds (OHCs), and the AMAP assessment of Mercury in the Arctic that was delivered in 2011.

This report is the seventh 'State of the Arctic Enviorment Report' that has been prepared by AMAP in accordance with its mandate. It presents the results of work conducted during AMAP's fourth phase (2008-2011) in relation to the priority issue of mercury in the Arctic. The assessment described in this report builds upon the previous AMAP assessments of this issue that were presented in 1997 and 2002.

This assessment report presents the results of the 2018 Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme (AMAP) assessment of Arctic Ocean Acidification. This is the second such assessment dealing with ocean acidification from an Arctic-wide perspective , and complements several assessments that AMAP has delivered over past years concerning the effects of climate change on Arctic ecosystems and people.
