GCIS Research Assistant

As GCIS Research Assistant, Zullmira Majid supports PREP meetings, coordinates Global Change Information Interagency Working Group meetings, and contributes on tasks for the GCIS data-stage. She completes research on stage content and data entry related to GCIS.
Prior to joining USGCRP, Zullmira worked as a GIS Analyst with the National Resources Defense Council. Most recently, she served as a GIS & Remote Sensing Analyst at Measure.
Zullmira holds a B.A.Sc. in Applied Meteorology from the Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology and an M.S. from George Mason University in Earth Systems Science. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Earth Systems and Geoinformation Science, also from George Mason University. Her goal is to be an expert in the field of Earth System Science, being able to use all types of analytical tools to conduct her research.
