Dr. Glynis Lough

Dr. Glynis Lough is Chief of Staff for the National Climate Assessment. In that capacity, she oversees the coordination of the authors, Federal Advisory Committee, and interagency working group members who contribute to development of the quadrennial National Climate Assessment and the sustained assessment process.

From 2005–2007, Dr. Lough was a AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow placed in the EPA Office of Air & Radiation, Office of Policy Analysis & Review, where she worked with the Task Force on Hemispheric Transport of Air Pollutants under the LRTAP Convention and with projects related to secondary pollutants, mercury, U.V. monitoring, satellite products, climate change, and data interoperability. Dr. Lough also held postdoctoral appointments at the University of Wisconsin and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry and Technology from the University of Wisconsin, and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
