Ms. McQueen took on the roles of Executive Secretary to the Subcommittee on Global Change Research and Implementation Planning Coordinator in June 2015. She previously served USGCRP as a support intern for the Global Change Information System and the National Climate Assessment teams. Prior to taking this position, she worked as an analyst for the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials and as a research assistant at The George Washington University’s Milken Institute School of Public Health, where she received a Master of Public Health degree in Environmental Health Science and Policy in 2014. Ms. McQueen earned a B.S. in Environmental Health from Western Carolina University, with research in the fields of air quality, water quality, and occupational health. She has served as a U.S. Public Health Service JRCOSTEP with the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service, a Chemical Incident Screening intern with the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board, and a communications/marketing coordinator with Life and Safety Consultants, Inc.
