The Belmont Forum, recognizing the valuable contribution of the social sciences to the understanding of and response to global environmental change, invited the ISSC to represent the international social science community as a member of the forum in January of 2010.
The NCADAC will meet November 16-17, 2011, at the following times: November 16 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and November 17, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. These times are subject to change.
The National Climate Assessment Workshop and Meeting Reports page has been updated with summaries from NCA sessions about the Colorado River Basin and Midwest, Southwest, and Great Plains regions.

Physical Climate, Observations, Indicators
The National Climate Assessment (NCA) convened a workshop on Physical Climate Indicators from 29 to 30 March, 2011 as part of a series on Monitoring Climate Change and its Impacts.
This notice is an amendment to the request for information (RFI) published in the Federal Register on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 (76 FR 41217).
The document "Frequently Asked Questions about the Request for Information and Expression of Interest process for the National Climate Assessment" is now available.
The NCADAC will meet August 16-18, 2011, at the following times: August 16, 2011, from 9a.m. to 6 p.m.; August 17, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; August 18, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
NOAA has issued a request for information, inviting the public to provide comments and expressions of interest in offering technical inputs or assessment capacity on topics related to the National Climate Assessment.
