Public Forum on Climate & Health Report
On Thursday, March 13th, USGCRP and partners will hold a public forum to inform the development of the interagency Special Report on the Impacts of Climate Change on Human Health in the United States. The forum, held at EPA headquarters in Washington, DC, will solicit input from subject matter experts and the public on proposed plans for scoping, synthesizing, drafting, and producing the report. The full-day event will include panel discussions on extreme heat, other extreme weather impacts, air quality, and disease.
The forum will be open and free to the public, but with limited space available. The first 120 people to register may attend. Please register for the Public Forum by clicking here (this link will be active until March 13th, or until 120 people have registered). Persons unable to attend the forum are invited to register for a live broadcast via webinar.
In addition to the public forum, opportunities to inform the report's development include commenting on the draft prospectus, submitting scientific literature, and submitting author nominations. These opportunities close on March 31st.
