Emily Therese Cloyd - USGCRP Print E-mail

Emily Therese Cloyd is the coordinator for the Carbon Cycle and Ecosystems Interagency Working Groups, the webmaster for the US Carbon Cycle Science website, and one of the main points of contact for USGCRP activities related to climate change adaptation. Prior to joining the USGCRP ICO in February 2007, Emily held a Dean John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship, serving as Modeling Coordinator at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Center for Sponsored Coastal Ocean Research. She holds a Master's degree in Conservation Biology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and a Bachelor's degree in Plant Biology from the University of Michigan and is currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental and Natural Resources Policy at SUNY-ESF. Her research interests lie at the intersection of science and policy, studying how science and scientific information are used to support natural resources management and policy decisions.
